In many Shuar villages there are no high schools making age eleven the year many girls have to decide to marry or find outside jobs, resulting in broken, hurt and abused little girls.
The Hope House was created for Shuar girls ages 11-20 with the heart of the girl in mind. At Hope House the girls receive a high school education and learn the trades of the home while attending the mother church in Sucúa and being involved in ministry through the church and the foundation.
